Well, really the picture may not be nice. But after this haircut, people are saying I look younger. Hmm, 2 months back, my army friends said I looked like a polytechnic student. Maybe its the exercising and maintaining a healthy diet. To think of it, when I was part-timing as a sales promoter for samung mobile at age 19, Customers and friends said I looked 27.
LIFE as it seems, staying healthy gives you more confidence.

Running on a High
I enjoyed my running today. It is really fulfilling and satifying to catch up and overtake a fellow runner. Hmmm, I notice something moving very far ahead of me. Then as I was running, it was a fig. 5, slowly, it was a fig. 11 and finally overtaking the jogger.
Never look back once you overtake someone because...
- The runner probably is older else you have no chance to overtake.
- The runner is bitter over you overtaking him and he wants to chase you to it. Continue running to keep pace.
- The runner thinks you are challenging him and may engage you in a catfight.
- You really should mind your own business.

Hot springs in Beitou, Taipei
Well, for this business trip, I was not with friends, Thailand Dec 2006 was fun with friends around.
But I still sorta enjoy Taiwan for the scenery and the new places that I went to.
I stayed at this hotel in Beitou, Taipei. Hmm, Taiwan is a big place, let's say even after you reached Beitou station(Taiwan Taipei's MRT), you still need to take a cab and need 5 mins to reach the hotel.
What better way to illustrate than with pictures?Trust me. The bathtub is big enough to seat 2 adults and the water flowing is directed from the hot springs nearby. The water is abit smelly if you ask me, cos it has a high content of sulphur.
And I got to Taichung this time round in Taiwan's High Speed Railway (HSR). The train was traveling at 265km/hr but I do not feel a thing seated in the train.
According to xiu, there are 5 night markets "must go" in Taiwan, so friends, who want to register to go to Taiwan at the end of the year?

Window smashed at amk carpark, laptop STOLEN
Jordon posting with Jackie and both smiling after Jordon's car got smashed by a laptop burgler.
I fixed to meet up with Jordon and Jackie for dinner today. And then news came at 2030(time we suppossed to meet), that both of them are still at their office.
2100 - Jordon called and said that his window glass was smashed and had lost his laptop. Not coming to meet us.
2130 - Jackie has just arrived by cab and we are looking for food (hungry). Jordon called and asked for cardboard and biscuits. Oh, come on, as brothers, we will not let you starve on biscuits, we had MacDonald's and used a vaccum cleaner to clean up the diamonds (the glass pieces really look like diamonds).
After tremendous effort from the policemen, no fingerprints were found and they suspect the burgler to be wearing gloves.
Jordon, hope the culprit is found soon. God Bless.
LIFE could just get unlucky, but with friends, it's a small hindrance.

11 May 2007 Taiwanese Jet Crash Kills 2 Singaporean Soldiers
Taiwanese Chinese paper reporting the jet crash on the headlines.
I left for Taipei on the 9 May 2007 and got to Taichung from the HSR Taoyuan Station - The Taiwan equivalent of the Japan bullet train. The journey was the fastest and the most comfortable in the Taiwan as it was spacious. Well the speed still fall short of the Japanese's bullet train. It was travelling at 265km/hr and reach Taichung in around 30 mins.
While having lunch in Taichung, I got a mixed feeling as the Taiwanese media splashed news of a 'Grandpa' plane F5F crashing into the Hukou camp. Damn, I was in the camp doing my duty back in 2005. The news was ongoing and come evening, it was reported that 2 Taiwanese Soldiers and 2 Singaporean Soldiers are dead. One Taiwanese pilot was newly married for only a year and had a child. 9 Singaporean soldiers were injured with 2 having more than 50 percent body burns.
The night before, I was in Taipei Shilin night market and I recognised the 'people' having their R & R. And I was like "Hey", I was them in 2005 with my crewcut hair style. Then the next day, I heard Singaporean soldiers dying in an accident in Taiwan.
English Taiwanese paper reporting on the headlines.
Arriving back in Singapore 12 May 2007, I saw my younger brother. He had came to fetch me from the airport after just coming back from an overseas training period. Man o Man. Every Singaporean man is doing his part for the country and this may just be one reason some may go out of the country to work but they still want to come back to Singapore.
Man. I gave my brother a big hug and my sister told us, we were inviting stares from the people in the airport. Hahaha..
LIFE could get unfortunate, cherish the loved ones around you.

Liverpool vanquish Chelsea en route to Athens
Yes, Yes YES...Cheers o Liverpool to making it into the Finals Of the Champions League. That is 2 times in 3 years. I see persistence and desire in getting to the Finals. 2005 in Istanbul and 2007 in Athen. It is going to be a magical night again.
And to Chelsea, Mourinho just can talk and play mind games. You look just like the crane, a dinosaur lookalike. Come on, make your tactics do the talking and go on to win the premiership title and FA cup from Manchester United. Then you can prove to be worthy of being the 'Special One'.
