Yup, Fann Wong was filming for her new drama n got this Red Patch on as make up. I look so unprepared, never had my hair up. Hands was shaking when I was taking the picture. Indeed, Feb is a romantic month, for the last day of the month, I met Fann Wong in person. I'm happy for the whole day after that. Kudos...

A fruitful Sunday
To sum it all up, what makes a fruitful sunday? I woke up early at 7, when to fetch my friends up at sengkang and bishan then, we had a run at MacRicthie reservoir. In the afternoon I had a mahjong with my family and I was the big winner of the game, though we only play with the chips and not gamble on money. In the evening it was a huge gathering with 14 friends and we "luo Hei" and had a great feast. The menu was fabulous, completed with chili crab, crab soup beehoon, steamfish, fried veggies, cereal prawns, playboy chicken(which was really sweet and sour chicken). And to end the night, one of my friends gave me a present(a bottle of tomota catsup from Indonesia).
As for the picture, thank you angeline for coming to run with us on the beautiful sunday, training for the marathon HK is hard but this is the first time we got pictures taken as angeline brought her camera phone along. Injecting some life into the training.
P.S. I feel bad for the bruise Angeline sustained from the fall during the last bit of the run. Get well soon.

Words of Wisdom
From a police officer who had a bad experience with driving.
Everyone knows hows to step on the accerlerator, but no everyone knows how to hit on the brakes.
Well, the police officer got his civilian driving licence revoked after 3 attempts on drink driving. Well, you only will stop when you get caught.
From the female lead in a korean drama.
Love is ALL OR NOTHING
Indeed, in LOVE, if you not give your all, it is not worth loving at all. That is what I believe also.

Greatest Race on Earth
M flying off to Hong Kong to take part in the HK marathon on 4th march 2007.
The Race
The Greatest Race on Earth is a challenging relay race across four of our established marathons in Nairobi, Singapore, Mumbai and Hong Kong.
The four marathons that make up The Greatest Race represent some of the toughest running conditions in the world.
Hong Kong
The Harbour Race is one of the world's toughest marathons. It's uphill all the way. The course takes you across the city, between skyscrapers, through bustling streets, over bridges, through a tunnel and onto a punishing five kilometre climb to the finishing line.
Hong Kong race is uphill all the way. Man this is crazy. God Bless me. The training has really slacken and we are enjoying the festive lunar new year. Celebrations with lots of goodies. Must watch on the diet and really binge after the marathon. Imagine going to Hong Kong, a food haven. This is going to be an uphill task man.

Last exam for my BMGT (Logistics and Supply Chain Management)
Today marks the end of my part-time degree that I undertake with APMI, During the last 15 months of this part-time, I moved from the old campus at international plaza into the city campus (as they call it) at starhub center. AMPI was "eaten" up by Kaplan. A big USA educator group.
So, later in the evening, I'm going to take my examinations for Applications in Supply Chain Management. An examination which I do have any confidence in passing, I had no time to study for this exam because of the tremendous work load during this festive period. Hey, Chinese new year is only 3 days away.
Man, I really wish that good luck with ride with me through this. Having secure credit for 60% of the assignment and tutorial work, this exam is taking up the remaining 40% of the subject.
Throughout this part-time degree, I had made many friends and realised many things. I learn many skills both tangible and intangible ones. I appreciate my study group 4 (Suhaili, Is Sheng, Robin Khoo and Robin Koh) for sticking with me through the assignments and the whole course.
I sign off as I prepared to travel on the ever-jam-packed CTE to starhub center.

Eternal embrace
True to the fact that february is indeed a romantic month. Archaeologists in Italy dug out a couple that were embracing each other. And the findings are believed to be 5000 to 6000 years old.
Menotti (the Archaeologist who dug out the skeleton claimed that the couple is young as the teeth were intact.

Yup, I totally agree that February is a romantic month. I was played into a joke. today.
I was conned by my friend, saying I'm invited to her ROM ceremony on 29 feb 2007. Man, I was so happy for her. I called her up. She continued to deceive me. Till halfway through the conversation, she asked me if there was any 29th feb. Man, lame joke.
Okie lame joke, try this one.. close friends know this is a classic.
My dog at home gave birth today to 3 cats. Period..

Famous quotes
Okay, here are some quotes from sports people.
- I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. Michael Jordan
- It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up. Muhammad Ali
The Michael Jordan one is really one that sets out the mood saying "Failure is the mother of success". So, I say to taste success, one has to take failure. Is there a foolproof way to skip the process of going through failure? Is Michael Jordan saying that you have to fail in order to succeed?
Well, I'm really inspired by the quote below taken from the Mayday's 倔强.
我不怕千万人阻挡只怕自己投降
This line is translated to: I'm not afraid of anyone's obstruction into the road ahead, only afraid of myself surrendering. So life really boils down to yourself, how well you do relates to how strong your mentality is.
Set a goal and tell yourself to work towards it.
