The best thing one can do for someone who loves her is of course loving her, loving each other. right? To reciprocate and love each other.
But if she doesn't love him, she shouldn't leave any hopes for him because even the smallest hope can be a tremendous torture to him. Now this is HOPE TORTURE. Kill off any amount of hope no matter how small and the girl may be doing a credit to the guy.
